Privacy Policy — Restless OS

Restless OS (“Restless OS,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a business software platform operated by Restless Industries LLC, a limited liability company organized in the State of New York, United States. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to our website at restless-os.com and to the Restless OS application and services (together, the “Service”).

Who our users are

The Service is used by businesses (“Customers”) to run marketing, sales, and customer-communication workflows. When a Customer connects their own third-party accounts (such as Instagram, Facebook, Stripe, or Google), we process data from those accounts on the Customer’s behalf and under their direction.

Information we collect

Account information — name, email address, business name, and login credentials created through our authentication provider when a Customer signs up.
Connected platform data — when a Customer connects a third-party account, we access the data needed to provide the Service. For Meta platforms (Instagram and Facebook) this may include the connected account’s profile information (account ID and username), the Customer’s own posts/media, comments left on that media, and direct messages sent to or from the connected account. We access this only after the Customer authorizes the connection.
Payment information — when payments are enabled, card and transaction details are collected and processed by our payment processor (Stripe). We do not store full card numbers on our systems.
Usage and technical data — log data, device and browser information, IP address, and actions taken within the Service, used to operate and secure the platform.
Cookies — we use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to operate the Service.

How we use information

To provide and operate the Service, including automations a Customer configures, for example automatically replying to a comment on the Customer’s post with a direct message, and letting an AI assistant draft and send replies to incoming direct messages on the Customer’s connected account.
To process payments and manage subscriptions.
To secure the Service, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot problems.
To communicate with Customers about their account and the Service.
To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use data obtained through the Meta platforms for advertising or for any purpose other than providing the Service the Customer has set up.

How we share information

We share information only with service providers that help us run the Service, and only as needed:

Meta Platforms (Instagram / Facebook Graph API) — to send and receive comments and messages on a Customer’s connected account.
Stripe — payment processing.
Google — where a Customer connects Google services (e.g., calendar/booking).
Cloud and infrastructure providers — hosting, databases, and connection management used to run the platform.
AI providers — to generate suggested replies and other AI features; content is processed to produce responses and is not used to train third-party models where such controls are available to us.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case we will notify affected Customers.

Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as a Customer’s account is active or as needed to provide the Service, and thereafter only as required to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When a Customer disconnects a platform, we stop accessing new data from that platform.

Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, or to request deletion of your data, email business@restless-os.com or see our Data Deletion page. A Customer can also disconnect any connected platform at any time from within the Service.

Data security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children’s privacy

The Service is intended for businesses and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

International users

We are based in the United States and process data there. By using the Service you understand that your information may be processed in the United States.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify Customers.
